Canadian Social Research Links
ELIST, Dec. 2005 (IMPACS) - Here is a veritable gold mine of links to websites about social policy and various levels of government. When you get to the site, scroll down a bit for the lists of links. And don't be deterred by the low-tech design... The site was developed and is maintained by Gilles Seguin, a retired federal public servant who says it "beats jigsaw puzzles and model trains" as a hobby. http://www.canadiansocialresearch.net.

2006 Workbee Schedule: Whole Village EcoVillage (NW of Toronto)
ELIST, Jan. 8, 2006 (GoodWork.ca) - We are a group of people from a variety of backgrounds, singles and families who have come together to build an ecovillage in conjunction with a biodynamic farm. We have purchased a 190 acre farm located in the Town of Caledon, northwest of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We intend to create a community with a commitment to sustainability and land stewardship that provides a place to farm and to live in harmony with the natural habitat. Our 15,000 square foot co-operative ecoresidence, Greenhaven, will be ready for occupancy by the end of January 2006. (There are still two 2-bedroom suites available in Greenhaven.) http://www.wholevillage.org/.
