When you get to the site, scroll down a bit for the lists of links. And don't be deterred by the low-tech design... 2006 Workbee Schedule: Whole Village EcoVillage (NW of Toronto)
ELIST, Jan. 8, 2006 (GoodWork.ca) - We are a group of people from a variety of backgrounds, singles and families who have come together to build an ecovillage in conjunction with a biodynamic farm. We have purchased a 190 acre farm located in the Town of Caledon, northwest of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We intend to create a community with a commitment to sustainability and land stewardship that provides a place to farm and to live in harmony with the natural habitat. Our 15,000 square foot co-operative ecoresidence, Greenhaven, will be ready for occupancy by the end of January 2006. (There are still two 2-bedroom suites available in Greenhaven.) http://www.wholevillage.org/.

Harvard Green Campuses Initiative: Best Practices Exchange
WEB Reference, Jan. 2006 (Harvard U.) - On a regular basis the HGCI hosts forums for bringing university professionals together to learn about best practice in achieving campus environmental impact reductions. Exchanges have included costs and benefits of green building, construction and demolition waste recycling and reuse, building commissioning, LEED training and more. http://www.greencampus.harvard.edu/programs.

Strategic Planning on a Budget
ONTARIO, CA, Aug. 15, 2005 (Sustainability Network) -This month, we are able to offer a 3 page Nonprofit World article from the current issue that argues that strategic planning need not be complex and overwhelming but that it should be a continuous process in an organization. The article presents 10 simple tips and includes a one page case study on an environmental nonprofit that saved its reputation by developing and implementing a strategic plan.
