USDA Scientific Cooperation Research Program
LISTSERVE Reference, Feb. 05, 2004 (COABC) - The USDA Foreign Agricultural Service announces the Scientific Cooperation Research Program, which supports long-term and short-term international collaborative research and exchange activities that promote both domestic and global food security, sustainable agriculture and resource management, and trade. Joint projects worldwide make practical use of science to help solve mutual agricultural problems and enhance the technical and scientific capabilities of both foreign and U.S. scientists. Funding provided to U.S. scientists is leveraged with resources from other federal programs, universities, the private sector, international organizations, and the collaborating foreign institutions.
