Community Kitchens Workshops - March 8th
NANAIMO, BC, Feb. 28, 2004 (FoodShare Society) - Nanaimo Community Kitchens is inviting you to roll up your sleeves and get cooking with them at the FoodShare Centre on March 8th. During the Community Kitchen Leadership workshop, you will have the opportunity to find out more about community kitchens, different ways a group can work and how you can lead a community kitchen. Learn the history of the community kitchen movement. Whether you would like to incorporate food into an already existing program or get a group of people together in a community kitchen, this workshop is for you! Held at the FoodShare Centre, 271 Pine Street, on Mar. 8, between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Call Jessica to register at 753-7470 or email - nanaimocommunitykitchens.ca.
