WEB Reference, Nov. 21, 2005 (Ethics website) - Welcome to the Ethics Buying Collective! Our goal is to bring healthy, organic food to our community at a fair price. Additionally, we want to ensure that all the products carried are gentle and respectful to the Earth and all the beings on it. This means carrying fairly traded coffee and chocolates, plant-based (vegan) foods, pesticide free and non-GMO foods. It also entails buying as locally as we can and supporting small farmers who don't use pesticides as well as minimizing the packaging used. If you care about the impact your food choices have on your own health and the health of the environment around you, then join us in exercising our consumer power for social and environmental change.
