VANCOUVER ISLAND, June 2004 (The Land Conservancy) - TLC CONSERVATION HOLIDAYS FOR JULY - Come join us at TLC’s Cowichan River property to learn how to build a Rainwater Collection System! (as just one possibility) Rainwater harvesting promotes self-sufficiency, fosters an appreciation for water as a resource and promotes water conservation. On this holiday you will be staying in our rustic log cabin, helping us build our collection system (no previous experience necessary), installing a grey water system and enjoying the Cowichan River by foot, by tube or by good old fashioned swimming.
