Growing Vacations: A Community Shared Agriculture Learning Experience
WEB Reference, Apr. 5, 2005 (Hilltop Pastures) - Hilltop Pastures has an acre of organic vegetables that are distributed via a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) of approximately 40 families, and a Bed & Breakfast. Although the property is only three acres, it is being developed as a self-sufficient holding. With each passing year we seem to be evolving into a centre for learning about sustainable living. In 2004 Hilltop hosted 4 happy youth interns, who learned about becoming an organic gardeners, market growers and farming. More about Hilltop Pastures: http://www.hilltoppastures.com.
