NANAIMO, BC, Oct. 2003 (NICN) - As public awareness of the ecoforestry movement has gained momentum over the last decade, it has spread as well to owners of small woodlots and sawmills, who are increasingly willing to embrace the long term economic advantages of selective logging, a sustainable approach to the management of their forests and to have their operations certified by bodies such as the Forest Stewardship Council.
