GALT, CA, Aug. 17, 2005 (CIP, by Carol Ann Brodie) - On August 4, 2005 Shuttle commander Eileen Collins said ""We would like to see, from the astronauts' point of view, people take good care of the Earth and replace the resources that have been used." Sometimes, hearing quotes like that and then hearing about the environmental damage that Collins and her fellow astronauts observed from space, I think about what we could do if we try. Then my eyes move to a picture in my office with the caption "Working Together." It shows several individuals rowing a scull, and the concerted teamwork of the rowers is obvious. I believe that with teamwork, offices can help in the effort to clean up the environment – together we can make a difference! Read more.
